Bucharest is set to make history with the launch of the Balkan Beats Bucharest Festival, the first international festival dedicated exclusively to modern Balkan music. Scheduled for June 19–21, 2026, the event will transform Romexpo into a vibrant hub of sound, culture, and unity.
Over the course of three days, up to 30,000 fans per day will gather to celebrate the richness and diversity of Balkan identity, from traditional rhythms to modern fusions that dominate streaming platforms and clubs worldwide.
The festival’s vision is to position Bucharest as Europe’s cultural capital for Balkan sound, creating a unique platform for artists and fans alike. Beyond concerts, Balkan Beats will feature culinary and cultural pop-ups, fan zones, and interactive experiences that bring the spirit of the region to life.
